“In my mind, there are few other cars that are as fun to drive,” says Addison Lee of his beautiful 1965 Ford Mustang fastback.
And while some may disagree with his assessment, Lee is clearly practicing what he preaches. After putting the car together with his dad back in high school, Lee got into Mustang racing as well. He took a break from Mustangs to race a Radical SR3 but quickly returned to his favorite pony cars. Currently, he races in the SCCA Spec Mustang series.
His still daily drives his personal Mustang, “just to have a little bit of extra fun in the morning.” With around 430 horsepower on tap and an upgraded suspension, we have a feeling those are pretty fun mornings.
We’re also a little ashamed we didn’t have vintage Mustangs to drive back in high school.
